(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Members of the military now have another way of getting financial assistance to further their education.

The American College of Technology is launching a new scholarship for veterans and active-duty students.

"We are a military-friendly school," said Richard Lingle, Director of Admissions for the college. "It's really the primary demographic of students that we cater to. We are always looking for ways to give back to them. We feel this is going to be the best opportunity for them to get education and not going into debt."

The on-line college based in St. Joseph is giving away a full scholarship that would give military students the opportunity to complete a Master of Business Administration at no cost if they complete their entire undergraduate program at ACOT.
