(LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mo.) A 65-year-old man was arrested at the Livingston County Courthouse on Monday for assaulting an officer and resisting arrest.

The Livingston County Sheriff's Department says Lawrence Edward Felton entered the courthouse with a knife.

When approached by deputies, Felton struggled with officers and refused to submit to arrest.

He also referred to himself as "God" to deputies.

The Sheriff's Department believes Felton was going to see an employee that angered him in the past.
