Missouri Western Offers Additional Showings of "Cronkite"

(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) The public has several chances to see "Cronkite" at Missouri Western State University.

The university has scheduled four public showings of the multimedia performance.

Jim Korinke leads the one-man show, portraying legendary journalist Walter Cronkite. During the show, "Cronkite" looks back at historic events, using photographs and video to support the stories.

The upcoming performances of "Cronkite" take place on Friday, Sept. 5, Sunday, Oct. 19, Thursday, Oct. 23 and Monday, Nov. 3. Performances are scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 5, 2 p.m. Oct. 19, and 6 p.m. Oct. 23 and Nov. 1 in the Kemper Recital Hall at Missouri Western.

Seats can be reserved by calling 816-271-4100. The shows are free and can also be scheduled for tour groups and field trips.
