(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Friday the Missouri Department of Transportation will release a draft list of projects for the next ten years.
MoDOT recently asked Missourians to weigh in on the improvements they felt state roads needed.

MoDOT says hundreds of new projects are included on the list like new roads, bridges and airports. They hope voters will see how the much-needed projects will improve Missouri.

"We've got just literally thousands of projects that people would love to see in the state of Missouri and what we've got on this list is hundreds of them," said Don Wichern, district engineer for MoDOT.

The proposed projects are all apart of a sales tax increase that voters will decide in August. Modot plans to approve the final list of projects next month.
