Moore, Oklahoma Marks One Year Anniversary of Deadly EF 5 Tornado

(MOORE, Ok.) Oklahomans are remembering a devastating EF 5 tornado that ripped through Moore a year ago today.

The state held a remembrance ceremony for the one year anniversary.

At the ceremony, Governor Mary Fallin praised the residents of Moore for how they came together to rebuild after the devastating twister.

"It's important that we stand by them and let them know that we have not forgotten them and the tragedy of this city," said Governor Mary Fallin.

The tornado killed two dozen people and injured hundreds more.

The Governor and other officials also broke ground for the new Moore Medical Center.
