Kaylee Wells, 11, went from tumbling across the gym floors at King City Elementary, to landing a spot on Nickelodeon.
She was featured on an episode of Nick News, which focused on deaf children and their every day lives.
"That's what makes her so great and an inspiration to everyone," said Sarah Schottel, Kaylee's interpreter.
"We're very proud of her, and I know she works really hard in everything she does, and I couldn't be more happier to be her parent," said Billie Wells, Kaylee's mother.
Wells is the only deaf girl in her family, school and town.
