Nebraska Man Charged in Multiple State Chase

(NODAWAY COUNTY, Mo.) A man who led police on a three state chase on Monday morning that ended near downtown Maryville has been charged.

The Nodaway County Sheriff's Department says Neal Ulfers, 33, from Lincoln, Nebraska is charged with tampering with a motor vehicle.

Ulfers is accused of stealing a vehicle in Nebraska and leading police on a high-speed chase through Nebraska, Iowa and ending in Missouri.

Nobody was injured in the chase.

More charges are expected from the counties he drove through.
