(SPRINGFIELD, Mo.) The body of a missing 10-year-old Springfield girl has been found, according to KOLR.

Family members reportedly said that the body of Hailey Owens was found, however, police have yet to confirm or deny the statement.

In a Wednesday morning news conference, Springfield Police Chief Paul Williams said a suspect, Craig Michael Wood, 45, was arrested just after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night.

Police say a tip lead officers to a house in Springfield where they found the suspect's vehicle.

Police also say evidence of foul play was found at the house.

KOLR is also reporting that Wood has been booked on first degree murder charges.

Police say Hailey disappeared from her in front of her home when a man in a gold Ford Ranger pick-up truck grabbed her.

Investigators do not believe Hailey knew the suspect and that the kidnapped was random.

Another news conference is planned for later Wednesday morning around 11:00 a.m. with more updates.
