(SAVANNAH, Mo.) Voters in Savannah have decided to save the city's pool.

They passed a 13-cent tax on Tuesday that will continue to help pay for repairs to the pool.

The measure passed with 71-percent of the vote.

The money from the tax will cover $650,000 worth of repairs to the pool.

Without the tax, city officials feared the pool would have to close.
