School Bond Passes in Maryville

(MARYVILLE, Mo.) A $10 million bond for the Maryville R-2 School District was passed by voters Tuesday night.

The bond passed with 67 percent of the vote.

District officials say the money will be used to pay for improvements to several buildings within the district. Eugene Field Elementary, Maryville Middle School, Maryville High School AND Northwest Technical School are expected to receive building upgrades.
