It's a month-long drive aimed at helping children in third world countries by collecting toys and various day to day necessities outside department stores throughout the city.
Those involved in the month-long event say it is stands out from other service projects because they're helping to bring smiles to the faces of the neediest children in the world.
"This was just something that I felt called to do," said Ben Hardy, an Eagle Scout Candidate who helped organize the month.
The kids are outside both Wal-Mart locations, as well as the north Belt K-Mart and Hy-Vee every Saturday for the rest of the month.
