SJSD Dismissing 2 Hours Early Due to Heat

(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) The St. Joseph School District will dismiss students and staff two hours early today due to the heat.

The district said activities will remain as scheduled.

A heat advisory is in effect from 1 p.m. Thursday until 8 p.m. Friday.

Temperatures are expected to reach the mid-90s, with heat index readings between 100 and 105 degrees.
