An attorney for the district confirms they have now received an official letter of inquiry.
In the letter dated last Thursday, the attorney general's office is looking for a response to allegations the school board engaged in discussions regarding district business through emails instead of official meetings and also met on February 28 without public notice.
The district has until June 7 to respond.
