South Harrison Co. School Bond Fails for Second Time

(HARRISON CO. Mo.) A bond that would have helped pay to build a new middle school in Harrison Co. has failed for the second time.

The $4.2 million bond failed with 947 no votes and 756 yes votes during Tuesday's election.

This is the second time in four months voters in Harrison Co. were asked to approve the bond.

School officials told KQ2 earlier the addition is needed to help relieve overcrowding the schools.
