St. Joseph Emergency Manager Elected as VP for MOEMA

(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) The City of St. Joseph's emergency manager has a new title.

George Albert was elected as Vice President for the Missouri Emergency Management Assocation (MOEMA) during a recent conference in St. Charles. The agency, formally known as the Missouri Emergency Preparedness Association, serves as the certifying agency for Missouri's emergency manager.

Albert, a 32-year veteran of the St. Joseph Fire Department, has been St. Joseph's emergency manager for 11 years.

He will represent the region with MOEMA for the next two years.
