(FILLMORE, Mo.) It's not everyday you see baby ducks, and geese, at a flea market.

Well, if you were at Fillmore Park on Saturday, you saw geese, ducks and more!

Thousands filled the six-acre lot for the swap meet to buy animals and antiques. Although the event is aimed for families to have a good time, there is a deeper meaning.

All proceeds, from the swap meet, go toward maintaining the park.

"Eventually build another modern bathroom, so we have modern facilities at both ends of the park, as opposed to just up at the front," said Janet Enyart, Event Organizer.

"We need a new roof on the shelter house, and roofs on our older buildings. And trees, we need new trees brought in," said David Lehmer.

More than 150 vendors were at the swap meet.

The event also runs all day Sunday, April 12, rain or shine.

The next swap meet will be this fall; August 16 and 17.
