(CNN) Nearly 18,000 immigrants are becoming United States citizens in honor of Presidents' Day.

They have been taking oaths of allegiance in 148 naturalization ceremonies across the country since Friday.

The head of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will deliver the oath to about 75 people during a naturalization ceremony Monday.

The ceremony takes place at the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum in Atlanta.
