Voters Reject Lottery Ticket to Help Veterans

(JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.) Missouri voters struck down an Amendment Tuesday night that would have created a new lottery ticket designed to help benefit veterans.

The measure failed with 55 percent voting no.

Money from the ticket sales would have funded the Veterans Commission Capital Improvement Fund.
