Beverly June Rowe, 78, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed peacefully from this life in the home of her daughter, Donna; surrounded by her family members and entered the Glorious Kingdom of God to be with our savior, Jesus Christ.

Beverly June Rowe, 78, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed peacefully from this life in the home of her daughter, Donna; surrounded by her family members and entered the Glorious Kingdom of God to be with our savior, Jesus Christ. She was of the Christian faith.

She was born on November 6, 1934, in Salina, Kansas to John and Margaret Landes.

Beverly graduated from Salina high School and went to Stephens College to study music in Columbia, Missouri. It was in Columbia, Missouri that she met her husband to be Donald K. Rowe. They were united in marriage on November 13, 1954. They were blessed with three children.

Beverly and Donald started the Speedy’s Convenience Stores in St. Joseph, Missouri. They loved to spend time with family and travel. She also loved to host family dinners at Thanksgiving and Christmas for her entire family.

Beverly was an excellent and avid bridge player and she especially enjoyed duplicate bridge with her good friend Lola Norton, they played both in St. Joseph as well as traveling to tournaments in Omaha, Nebraska and Tunice, Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald K. Rowe and her parents John and Margaret Landes.

Beverly is survived by her three children; Donna June Bonebrake (Jim), Gower, Missouri, Dr. Stephen K. Rowe (Michele), Springfield, Missouri and John J. Rowe (Jane), Kansas City, Missouri; her brother, John (Jack) Landes and her sister-in-law Patty Landes, Salina, Kansas; grandchildren, Benjamin, Jeremy, Jason, Margaret, Josh, Steve Jr., Matt and David; step-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Charlie, Jack, Jeff and Kate; great-grandchildren and great-step-grandchildren, Benjamin, Kaylie, Colin, Maeci, Tristan, Adeline.

Beverly loved her family and was a great friend, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Although her earthly body will be entombed at Memorial Park, her memory will remain with all her family and friends and her soul will reside with her Father in Heaven where she will be reunited with those loved ones that had previously passed.

Services:  1:00 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Entombment Memorial Park Mausoleum.  The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, where friends may call after 5:00 P.M.
