Charlene was the daughter of the late Charley and Ruth Clear.

In 1950 Charlene married the love of her life, the late Dr. Henry J. Miller.

Henry and Charlene made their home in Platte City where together they operated Miller Chiropractic Clinic. Together they raised 3 children- Debbie (Jerry) Schwebach of Lathrop, Vicki (Ray) Payne of Raymore and Skip (Vicki) Miller of Kansas City, Mo. Charlene’s pride in life was her family. She was the consummate matriarch, always orchestrating family get togethers. Her parents, a brother Charlie Clear and her former husband, Henry Miller, preceded Charlene in death.

Charlene is survived by a host of grandchildren. Donna (Mike) Adamek of Platte City; Frank (Angie) Aikmus of Waxhaw, NC; Susie Dennison of Columbia, SC; Sandy (Jeff) Troutman of Austin, TX; Jackie Aagenson of Parkville; Jennie (Russ) Smith of Platte City; Shelley Payne (Jennie Byrnes) of Raymore; Trayce Miller of Warrensburg and Trey Miller of Maryville. Additionally Charlene had 11 great grandchildren whom she adored. Also left to remember her are sisters in law Joey Clear Roach, Mo., and Roberta Henneberg of N. Kansas City, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests from 6:00-7:30pm, Thursday, Dec. 12 at United Methodist Church in Platte City followed by a celebration of life service. Arrangements By: Rollins Funeral Home—Platte City, MO—Ph. 816-858-2129.
