Beverly M. Horseman, 74, of Weston, MO passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 at St. Luke’s Northland Hospital in Kansas City, MO.

A visitation will be held 5:30 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Vaughn Funeral Home in Weston. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 12, at the funeral home. Cremation will follow with inurnment in East Slope Cemetery in Riverside, MO, at a later date. The family suggests contributions be given to: the Barry Goodman Care Fund, in c/o Bank of Weston; or to the First Baptist Church of Weston.

Beverly was born May 25, 1939 in Blythedale, MO to Orville Wayne and Wilma Mae (Cain) Foreman.

She was raised in northern Missouri, and was a 1956 graduate of the Eagleville High School. Afterwards, Beverly lived many years in the Kansas City, MO area. She married her first husband, Amos Goodman on January 9, 1960, in Miami, OK. Beverly was a homemaker, and also worked for Hallmark Cards. She came to Weston in 1979, where she continued as a homemaker and active member of the First Baptist Church of Weston, where she provided childcare assistance. A few years after Amos’ passing, Beverly married Parker Horseman on February 20, 1991 at the First Baptist Church. She expanded her love for working with children as childcare assistant for the preschool, and elementary school in Weston. Beverly cherished spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved to watch game shows, bull riding events, and was an avid fan of the many local sporting events.

Beverly was preceded in death by: her parents; her first husband Amos; her second husband Parker, 2003; and 3 brothers Jim, Gary, and Jack Foreman.

She is survived by: her son Barry Goodman of Columbia, MO; her daughter Carol Sivils, and her husband Cotton, of North K.C., MO; her brother Richard Foreman, and wife Carleta of St. Joseph, MO; her sister Deanna Bray, and husband Dan of Fremont, NE; 2 grandchildren; and step children and grandchildren.
