Glen K. Harding, 98, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
Glen was born November 22, 1915, in High Hill, Missouri. After graduating High School, he joined the Army in 1941 and served in WW II. He married Mary Helm in Montgomery City, MO on October 6, 1946. They celebrated 67 years together.
Glen was employed by Missouri Farm Bureau for 32 years. After retirement, they moved to St. Joseph and opened Harding House Bed and Breakfast. He was a former member of Knights of Columbus and Serra Club.
He was preceded in death by his son, Dwight Harding; and seven brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife Mary H. Harding, of the home; two daughters, Marian (Don) Collins and Edie (Richard) Teubner; five grandchildren, Brieanna Shay, Philip Knight, Daniel Teubner, Sarah Kennedy and Virginia Decker and four great-grandchildren.
Mass of Memorialization 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Cathedral of St. Joseph. Inurnment at a later date.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Church.
