Hal was born on February 7, 1938 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Carl and Ruby (Wilson) Riddle.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda Riddle; 2 brothers, Harry Riddle and Donald Riddle and a sister, Betty Hartshorn.

Hal served in the United States Air Force from 1955-1961.

He served 40 years in Law Enforcement. Hal served as the Cameron Chief of Police from 1978 to 2004, at which time he retired.

Hal was a member of the Cameron Rotary.

Survivors: son, Michael (Susan) Riddle, Waverly, NE; step-son, Richard (LuAnn) Kepner, Breckenridge, MO; 2 grandchildren, Jason Riddle and Christina Laws; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 2:00 PM, Monday, December 23, 2013 at the Turning Point Church, Cameron. Visitation: 1-2:00 PM, prior to the service. Burial: Graceland Memorial Cemetery, Cameron. Arrangements by: Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Memorial Donations to the Hal Riddle Memorial Fund to benefit the Cameron Police Department
