Helen C. Daniels, 96, of Cameron, MO, passed away Sunday November 3, 2013 at the Cameron Regional Medical Center.
Helen was born October 21, 1917 in Platte County, Missouri to Frank and Stella Myers. She married J.O. Daniels and he preceded her in death on January 17, 1991. She was a member of the Cameron Hospital Auxiliary and was known as the Monkey Guru because of hundreds of sock monkeys she made for sale in the hospital’s gift shop.
Mrs. Daniels is also preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Nancy Adams and Barbara Sincotta; two sisters, Mary Pearl West and Geraldine Edwards; two brothers Eldon and Albert Myers and a granddaughter, Melanie Davis.
She is survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank all the Doctors and Nurses at the Cameron Regional Medical Center for taking such good care of Helen.
Mrs. Daniels has been cremated under the direction of the Heaton-Bowman-Smith and Sidenfaden Chapel. There will be no visitation or services at the chapel, inurnment will be at a later date.
