Linda May Parker 66, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013 in a Saint Joseph, MO health care center.

She was born November 24, 1946 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of Helen and Edward Wilson.

She graduated from Lafayette high school class of 1965 and married Tom Parker on April 15, 1965.

She was a Homemaker, who enjoyed volunteering at Neely School, also serving as the PTA President she was a piano player and song writer, a very loving and caring person. She and her husband Pastored at the Jesus Name Apostolic Holiness Church. The family wishes to thank the staff of Saxton Woods and Three Rivers Hospice.

Linda was preceded in death by brother, Edward "Sonny" Wilson, her parents.

Survivors include, husband, Tom Parker of the home, a son, Johnny (Trisha) Parker of St. Joseph, MO, a daughter, Melissa (Darwin) Martwick of Liberal, KS, a granddaughter, JaiLi Martwick, eight, foster grandchildren, three sisters, Wilma (Ron) Cooper of Longview, WA, Eileen Allen, and Effie Ellis of St. Joseph, MO.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 am, on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Rupp Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Bethel Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the Linda Parker Memorial Fund.
