Marie “Rie” Hinderks, 96, Savannah, Missouri died Monday, October 14, 2013 at a local healthcare facility.
She was born June 17, 1917 to Arma and Edith (Wiley) Moberly in Maryville, Missouri.
She married Donald H. Hinderks. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Hinderks was a seamstress at the former H.D. Lee Company and babysat for many years. She was a member of Francis Street First United Methodist Church and attended Clair United Methodist Church.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Donald E. Hinderks; parents; two brothers, Harold Moberly and Donald Moberly; and three sisters, Jean Thompson, Martha Wiederhold, and Helen Taylor.
Survivors: daughter-in-law, Sharaon Hinderks, of the home; three grandchildren, Mark Hinderks, Leawood, Kansas, Kim Wadlington, Lake Barrington, Illinois; and Stephanie Ellis, St. Joseph, Missouri; eleven great-grandchildren, Carson Hinderks, Conner Hinderks, Calla Hinderks, Taylor Wadlington, Danielle Wadlington, Nicholas Wadlington, Natalie Wadlington, Andrew Wadlington, Timothy Ellis, Kaitlynn Ellis, and Tommy Lee Ellis; many nieces and nephews; and Sharaon’s mother, Norma Knox, of the home.
Memorial Service: 11:00 A.M. Thursday, Clair United Methodist Church. Inurnment Memorial Park Cemetery, at a later date. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
