A life-long resident of St Joseph, she was born in Atchison KS on March 13, 1923 to Mina (Gampper) and John T. Crotty. She attended Cathedral School and graduated from The Convent of the Sacred Heart.
“PJG”, as she was affectionately called by her children and grandchildren married Robert A Graham in 1950. He preceded her in death in 1981.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, John T, Paul V, and Francis X (FX) Crotty and sisters Mary Delores Keenan and Teresa Ann Pangle.

She is survived by a brother Charles F Crotty of St Joseph and sisters Elrie Myers and Carol Jean Kilgore. Deeply devoted to her children and grandchildren, they are: Robert C of St Joseph, Genise M of Mesa AZ and Kent A of Weatherby, MO. Her grandchildren include Chelsea Radosevich, Robert H, Brady A and Gampper A Graham. Numerous nieces and nephews survive.

A devout catholic and member of St Joseph Cathedral, she was involved in many church activities and organizations. Among them were St Ann’s Altar Society, Daughters of Isabella, Ladies of Charity and especially her beloved “Environmental” Decorating team. She was honored by Bishop Sullivan for her dedicated efforts in the church. As the first St Joseph director of Women in Community Service, she also served the people of St Joseph. She was instrumental in the founding of the Open Door Food Kitchen and the Cathedral Food Pantry.

Family visitation at Heaton-Bowman Smith will be Thursday, Jan 2nd at 5-7 and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Cathedral on Friday, Jan 3rd at 1:00pm. Inurnment at Mount Olivet will be a private ceremony. The family suggests donations to the Open Door Food Kitchen.
