He was born in Mooresville, Missouri on October 11, 1919 to George and Ada (Balkey) Foreman.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Dorothy L. Cain, brother, Gerald Foreman and sister, Margaret Foreman.

Robert graduated from Ludlow High School in 1937 and then attended Chillicothe Business College. He entered the Army in 1943 and served his country in Europe during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion for 68 years.

He started raising his family in Braymer, where he was a merchant, city council, Mayor and school board member. In 1962 the family moved to Cameron where he was employed with MFA as a claims adjuster.

Since his retirement in 1983, Bob enjoyed daily coffee visits with his buddies and watching his favorite sports teams.

Survivors include sons, Bob (Mary Ola) Foreman, Springfield, MO. and Roger (Diana) Foreman, Cameron, MO.; wife, Lois Foreman; 5 grandchildren, Jon Foreman, Chad Foreman, Robin Campbell, Amy Hoge, and Kim Watkins; 10 great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, step-daughter, Gloria (Richard) Bray and sister in law, Lena Cain.

Services: 9:30 AM, Monday, January 13, 2014 at Poland Thompson Funeral Home.

Visitation at 9:00- 9:30 AM prior to service.

Graveside service with Military Honors following at 11:15 AM, Braymer Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, MO.
