Roger Wayne Williams 76, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 25, 2013 in a Saint Joseph, MO hospital.

He was born June 5, 1937 in Halls, MO, son of Bertha and Benton Williams.

He married Louise Miller on December 11, 1964.

He was a veteran of the armed forces serving in the Army.

He worked at Seitz Company as a Security Guard he also worked at the Goetz Brewery as a brewer & a truck Driver. Roger was a Reserve Deputy Sheriff and a member of the Saxton Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite. Roger enjoyed spending time with his family, especially taking trips with his grandchildren. He was of the Baptist faith.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, David A. Williams, George Williams, Charles Williams, Benton M. Williams Jr., twin sisters, Helen Ilene Williams and Irene Williams.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Williams of the home, three sons, Terry (Debbie) Williams of Branson, MO, Michael Williams of St. Joseph, MO and James P. (Kim) Boone of Burns Flat, OK, three daughters, Debi Pierce, Brenda Marriott and Carla (Jim) Zawodny all of St. Joseph, MO, fourteen, grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews, two brothers, Ernest Williams and Don Williams both of St. Joseph, MO.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at the Rupp Funeral Home, with Dr. Darrell Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Bethel Cemetery, DeKalb, MO.
