(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) The Chiefs have placed tight end Kevin Boss on injured reserve Wednesday, ending his season.
Doctors say they could not clear him to play the rest of the year.
The tight end suffered a concussion following a 29-yard reception in the team's second regular season game against Buffalo.
Boss caught three passes for 36 yards and one touchdown this season.
This is the fifth documented concussion for the sixth-year veteran. He suffered three as a New York Giant from 2008-2010 and one in 2011 with Oakland.
