(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) As training camp at Missouri Western concluded Thursday morning, Andy Reid had one last challenge before he could make the drive back to Kansas City -- that challenge included a bucket of ice water.

Reid completed the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge with some help from star running back Jamaal Charles and backup quarterback Chase Daniel.

Sporting KC CEO Robb Heineman invited the Chiefs head coach to join the nationwide movement that's raising awareness for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.

After completing it, Reid extended a challenge to NFL offensive line coaches including Juan Castillo, Eugene Chung and Andy Heck.

The Chiefs stay in St. Joseph is now complete after holding 16 practices open to the public on the grass fields at Spratt Stadium.

Kansas City faces Carolina in their second preseason game this Sunday.
