(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) After 11 days of work at Missouri Western, the Chiefs are ready to strap on the pads for the first game of the season.

Kansas City opens the preseason slate Thursday at Arrowhead Stadium against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Head coach Andy Reid said Monday morning that "each quarterback will take a quarter" in the exhibition game, but he hasn't yet made a plan for other positions.

Kickoff from Kansas City on Thursday is set for 7 p.m. The game will be shown on KQTV, with the KC Blitz pregame show starting at 6:30 p.m. leading up to game time.
