(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) The Kansas City Chiefs welcomed another early arrival at training camp Tuesday.

Left tackle Eric Fisher arrived at Missouri Western and took part in his first practice.

Fisher has been limited to drills during off season workouts since undergoing shoulder surgery at the end of last season.

Last year's number one draft pick feels he's fully recovered from his injury and ready for camp.

"I never really lost strength, you know I've been in there working," said Fisher. "When you can't bench there are other things you can do, and that's what I was doing. There haven't been any challenges. As soon as I could do what I could do, I was in there working and took care of business."

Fisher started 13 games as a rookie at right tackle for the Chiefs.

He's expected to be the starting left tackle this season.
