(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) A big part of Chiefs training camp is seeing the players up close and even getting to meet some of them.

For one young group of fans, that meant walking side by side with their heroes on and off the field.

After practice on Wednesday, kids from St. Joseph's Big Brothers Big Sisters got the chance to take part in the Helmet Walk.

"Littles" got to rub elbows with some of the team's standouts by escorting them and carrying their helmet back to the locker room.

"It seems so little to maybe carry someone's helmet. To them, it means the world," said Tiffany Bruce, with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

"Bigs" and "Littles" say it's an experience they'll never forget.

"It was probably one of the best times of my life doing this today," said Lucas Wood.

"Pretty cool, you know, just being able to see the players and getting to meet the players too and walk with them. And, I'm happy he got to enjoy that," said Big Brother Billy Young.

Six kids took part in Wednesday's Helmet Walk during Chiefs camp at Missouri Western.
