Atchison, KS--TJ Kocher's seen plenty of change in four years on the Maur Hill football team.
"This is my first year of the same offense. Every year I've had to change."
He's the leader of the winningest senior class in Maur Hill history over the past five seasons. He led the Ravens to their first win in four years, snapping a 29-game losing streak.
We had to go back three times just to get the win."
"He's a great leader. He's beeen a great player for us for many years and he's going to be a great senior this year," Brandon Wilkes, Maur Hill Head Coach, said.
Nothing says leader like someone's who's taken a beating season after season, returning year after year, working to build something bigger than him. Even if that means handing the starting QB job to a junior and moving to Wide Receiver.
"I'm going to do whatever it takes to win. I like Wide Receiver just as much."
"They are the wideouts, they are money. They'll adjust to the ball for me," Brock Hanf, Maur Hill Quarterback, said.
The roster's up eight players from a year ago. Second year head coach Brandon Wilkes has these players believing in something bigger than Maur Hill.
"Want us to be close and like a family and believe in one another."
