WEB EXTRA: Neff, Kurth Give Thoughts on Lafayette's Sectional Win

(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) The Lafayette boys basketball team advanced to the Class 4 quarterfinals for the first time since 2011 with a 53-41 win over Liberty North at Staley High School on Wednesday.
 
The Irish advance to face Grandview, who beat Harrisonville 78-74 in overtime, at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday at the Independence Events Center.

Head coach Chris Neff and senior forward Xavier Kurth talked about getting redemption for last year's season-ending loss to Liberty North, the strength of their bench, and advancing to the final eight in Class 4.
