(GREEN BAY, Wisc.) The second stop of Michael Hill's NFL career took him through Green Bay. Now the former Missouri Western standout running back is getting ready to head to Wisconsin once again.

Hill confirmed in text message Tuesday night that he plans to sign with the Packers once again.

The Chargers cut him after spending the 2013 preseason in San Diego. That opened the door for his first stop in Green Bay. He joined the Packers practice squad September 2nd, and was elevated to the active roster for weeks five and six. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers scooped Hill off the Green Bay practice squad November 13th, and he remained on Tampa's 53-man roster for the rest of the season.

Hill's agent, Harold Lewis, told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that Indianapolis, San Diego and San Francisco were also interested in signing the St. Joseph native.
