(VANCOUVER, BC) During his career at Missouri Western, Travis Partridge set the school record for career rushing touchdowns with 36.

On Saturday, the former Griffon quarterback found himself in a familiar spot with the BC Lions.

Partridge entered the game with the ball on the one-yard line, and pushed through a Montreal tackle for the first regular season touchdown of his career.

The plunge boosted BC's lead over Montreal to 20-3. The Lions rolled to a 41-5 win.

At six-foot-four, 230 pounds, the St. Joseph native has become a short yardage specialist for BC. Partridge has two carries this season, each going for one yard.

Partridge joined the Lions of the Canadian Football League in late May after spending a week at the Minnesota Vikings' rookie minicamp.
