(EDMOND, Okla.) Raphael Spencer's career night highlighted a Griffon ground attack that pounded the Bronchos from start to finish on Saturday.

The sophomore running back turned in a career-high 221 yards while Travis Partridge accounted for five scores in a 63-30 Missouri Western win at Central Oklahoma.

The No. 6 Griffons (5-0, 4-0) have now won 19 of their last 20 MIAA games.

Central Oklahoma (0-5, 0-5) struck first as Adrian Nelson pounded in the opening score from a yard out and tied it late in the first quarter on a seven-yard run by Nelson. MWSU grabbed the lead back with 1:22 left in the frame and held it the rest of the night.

The Griffons racked up 319 yards on the ground and scampered for seven touchdowns. Four of those came off Partridge's legs as the quarterback rushed ten times for 39 yards.

He completed 17 of 21 passes for 203 yards and a second-quarter scoring strike to Josh Walker.

Dalton Krysa found the end zone twice as part of a nine-carry, 53-yard performance. Spencer punched in the other rushing score late in the first quarter.

MWSU's defense allowed 516 yards to the Bronchos, but forced four fumbles and turned the ball over twice.
