(St. Joseph, MO) After two consecutive non-league games, the St. Joseph Mustangs resumed MINK League play with a 5-3 win over the Ozark Generals.
Mustangs starting pitcher Cody Cunningham paced the Mustangs with 7.2 strong innings. The hurler allowing 2 earned runs on 10 hits and 7 strikeouts.
The win for Cunningham was an encore performance to his previous start against Omaha on June 14th, when the right hander tossed a complete game shutout en route to a 6-0 win.
Cunningham moves his record to 4-0.
The Mustangs will have turn around and face the Generals again on Friday night at Phil Welch Stadium.
