(MARYVILLE, Mo.) Northwest Missouri State hit its highest point total in more than four years with a 105-59 win over Waldorf College on Monday.

The Bearcats (7-4, 2-0 MIAA) hit 14 of 29 (48.3 percent) three-pointers -- a season-high -- and reached 105 points for the first time since beating Manhattan Christian 105-55 on November 16, 2009.

Senior Dillon Starzl had never hit a three-pointer in his college career before Monday night, but finished the win over Waldorf going three of four from beyond the arc. Starzl led the Bearcats with 23 points and added five rebounds.

While the 6'8" Starzl was hitting threes, point guard DeShaun Cooper led the Bearcats in rebounding. He pulled down eight boards to go along with 14 points and nine assists.

Northwest has one game left before the new year. The Bearcats play at Fort Hays State December 21st at 4:00pm.
