(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) This fall marks Northwest Missouri State's 13th year of playing at Arrowhead Stadium, but for the first time the Bearcats won't face Pittsburg State.

The Bearcats will meet Washburn in Kansas City on November 15 to complete each team's regular season schedule.

The MIAA rivalry tabbed the Fall Classic at Arrowhead between Northwest and Pitt State began in 2002.

“Getting a chance to continue playing at Arrowhead was extremely important to our players, our program and our fans,” Northwest head coach Adam Dorrel said in a press release.

The meeting between the Bearcats and Ichabods will retain the title "The Fall Classic."

Northwest holds an advantage against Washburn all-time with 27 wins in 33 games between the schools.
