"It's been a great experience for us here in St. Joseph," Chiefs CEO/Chairman Clark Hunt said. "We wanted to give the new coaching staff a chance to experience it. I will say that everything that I've heard from Andy [Reid] about being here at the university has been extremely positive."
"If you're a fan, to come out here and watch, or a player to come out here and practice, it's a great setup," head coach Andy Reid added.
"We've definitely had more interaction with these people, this general manager and this coach, than we have before," he said.
"It's a different environment, and personally I like the team going away," he said. "Frankly, what we have at Missouri Western is as good as any training facility in the National Football League."
