After nearly a decade of hoping and waiting, the Kansas City Chiefs move in for training camp at Missouri Western State University.
Players began arriving on the St. Joseph campus this afternoon. They are moving in to the Scanlon Hall dormitory. That's where they'll stay during training camp, which runs from July 30 through August 19.
Chiefs public relations staff members are on campus during the move, making sure the players find their way to the dorms and keeping media at a distance.
Missouri Western will have security in place during camp. The Chiefs first practice is at 1:50 p.m. Friday, July 30.
The Chiefs are in St. Joseph after 19 years of training camp in River Falls, WI.
