More progress is being made at Missouri Western to welcome the Kansas City Chiefs for Training Camp.

Crews spent today hanging banners on the light poles around campus.

In recent days, grounds keeping crews began putting chemicals down on the practice field and setting up bleachers.

Last year's camp brought more than 50,000 people to St. Joseph over the three week training camp.

Chiefs Training Camp is slated to begin July 29.

NFL owners and players are still trying to hammer out a deal to end the four month long lockout.
