(ST. JOSEPH) Mustangs fans could have the chance to see two more games at Phil Welch Stadium this summer.

The team announced Monday that St. Joseph will host Game 2 of the MINK League Championship Series with Sedalia on Thursday and, if necessary, Game 3 on Friday. The Mustangs will play in Sedalia for Game 1 on Wednesday.

Neither team has clinched home field advantage, but the Bombers have elected to play twice in St. Joseph regardless of the final standings due to a scheduling conflict with that would leave Liberty Park Stadium in Sedalia already occupied later in the week. The Mustangs clinched the MINK League North Division and a berth in the series with a 2-1 win over Chillicothe on Sunday.

The team has reduced ticket prices to $3.50 for General Admission and $6.00 for box seats for Thursday's game. Fans can call 816-279-7856 to purchase tickets now. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on both nights.

St. Joseph concludes the regular season on Monday in Clarinda.
