(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) A break for drivers this week as gas prices continue to fall.

The national average for a gallon of gas has dropped about 10 cents in a month. In Missouri, gas prices are down about 20 cents in that same time.

Here in St. Joseph, Gasbuddy shows some stations offering regular unleaded as low as $3.09.

The dip in prices comes on the heels of a record 1,000 days in a row with gas above $3.00 per gallon.
