Hearty Beef Stew

 

Boil 3 pounds of bones (cover raw bones with water) overnight in slow cooker or on stove top.  For more intense flavor roast the bones in the

Oven for 1 hour on 350 degrees before you boil them.

2 pounds of any cut of Wells Family Farms 100% Grass Fed Beef

1 Onion minced

1 clove of garlic minced

1 green pepper minced

6 medium potatoes cubed

4 egg plant cubed

1 cup Kale minced

1 teaspoon turmeric

1 teaspoon basil

½ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon cumin

½ teaspoon ginger

 

Use any and all veggies from the garden, any squash or any combination you personally like. In the morning add cubed beef.  Ground is not recommended for slow cook soups.  Add the spices , about lunch time add the remaining ingredients.

About dinner time be ready to sit down to a fabulous beef stew that will be not only nutritious but delicious!
