Albrecht-Kemper Museum Partners With Local Business For New Art Gallery

Albrecht-Kemper museum partnered with a local company for its first on-site art gallery.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Albrecht-Kemper Museum partnered with a local company for its first on-site art gallery.

The VAB Gallery is displayed at Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica.

There are more than 40 pieces of artwork, made by artists from Northwest Missouri.

Locals submitted entries, and employees from the museum and Boehringer voted on ones they liked most.

Employees say the animal-themed gallery provides a soothing environment for its workers, but also gives locals a chance to display their work.

"Being involved in the community is a very important component of our business, and this is our way of welcoming the community into our own walls that we work in everyday," said Rene Ward.

The art work will change every quarter with a new theme.

The next theme will be innovation.
