Running back Jamaal Charles was "up and moving" Monday after leaving Sunday's win.
(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid said Monday running back Jamaal Charles suffered a quad contusion in Sunday's 28-2 win at Jacksonville and that he is "doing okay."
"He does have a range of motion," Reid said. "We'll just see how he does here over this week, but he is moving around today."
Charles left the team's opener in the third quarter having already put them up 21-2 with a two-yard touchdown run before halftime. He returned for two carries in the fourth quarter before leaving again.
He racked up 77 yards on 16 total carries.
